2025 National Local Government Professionals - Leaders Breakfast 2025
A networking and professional development event for Australian Local Government Chief Officers. Partnering with Local government Professionals Australia NSW and sponsored by GWI Digital.
As briefed to those of you in NZ in February, by Paul Bennett, GM Tamworth, this is a quick update on the CEO/GM event at ALGA 2025.
Unfortunately we are unable to host a Lunch, however ALGA have approved a Breakfast. We have a small working group who have been planning this event, and we about 2 weeks away from locking in sponsor and guest speaker. The main ALGA Dinner is on the Thursday evening.
Also we had to find a partner organisation to auspice the booking at the National Convention Centre, take the registration payments/receipts and provide PL Insurance. LGPA(NSW) have agreed to do this for 2025; and we are hoping if successful and everyone keen in 2026, that perhaps this role can move from state to state organisation, and LGCOG.
ALGA will also not promote or accept bookings for this event, so we will have to share within our own circles and networks.
